Exploring Coastal Oregon With Ken Wright Cellars
Come Join Us On Tuesday, April 16th For A Super Exciting Wine Dinner With Ken Wright Cellars.
Featuring 9 DELICIOUS WINES (SOME VERY LIMITED) & 5 CULINARY COURSES
His concept of focusing on vineyard-designate bottling began during those years at Panther Creek and was cemented as a core philosophy in 1994 when Ken Wright Cellars was founded in historic downtown Carlton. Ken now makes a single vineyard bottling from 13 vineyard sites in the Northern Willamette Valley.
Given his appreciation of sense of place, it was a given that Ken would contribute to the locations and industry near and dear to his heart. Instrumental in organizing the six new American Viticultural Area (AVA)’s in the Northern Willamette Valley that define in detail the distinct growing areas within the region, he wrote the proposition for the Yamhill-Carlton AVA and served as the association’s first President.

Fèlsina has long been one of the great names of Tuscany. Fèlsina has been carrying out a consistently excellent activity for over half a century and has become not only a point of reference for wine companies, but also a historical point of reference. In fact, this is a thriving area of quality-oriented companies, which have been producing wine for about 30 years, while Felsina has boasted a dedication to quality wine for over 60 years. Unlike many of their neighbors, Fèlsina has never succumbed to the temptation to produce “new age” wines from their fine Chianti vineyards, and continues to grow solely Sangiovese. The vineyards of Fèlsina are characterized by different soils and microclimates. This is how the wines gain their unique and individual character. The combination of terroir and the grape variety creates an inseparable element of Fèlsina’s past and future-and you can feel it in every glass.

Rise of American Craft Gin
Please join Natasha Bahrami, Director of Gin Curation and Education for the Museum of Distilled Spirits for her exceptional program: The Rise of American Craft Gin Movement.
Special Distiller Guests: Aaron Selya - Bluecoat American Dry Gin, Bruce Joseph - Junipero Gin, David Smith & Lance Winters - St George Spirits
The category of gin has exploded throughout Europe and has echoed in the US as a passionate interest by distillers, bartenders and consumers.
However the rise of the American Craft Gin movement was more of a magical affair, one that was built off the American craft spirit movement's obsession with distilling with a deep rise that began in the 1990's and 2000's.
The growth grew from an infatuation with whiskey and bourbon, but resulted in a deep love for creativity in distilled spirits, something that was highly limited in the whiskey realm.
Join us for a dive into the trailblazers of the American Craft Gin Movement, with very special guest distillers from some of the best American Gin Distilleries that have paved the way for the current gin resurgence.
